Mulchfest

As the Christmas season comes to a close, say fir-well to your tree at Mulchfest! ♻🌲 Queens Farm is a drop-off site for this post-holiday mulching extravaganza organized by NYC Parks and the New York City Department of Sanitation, 12/26/23–1/7/24. They’ll recycle your tree by turning it into wood chips that help nourish NYC’s greenery. More than 58,300 trees were recycled last year thanks to this program — can you help top that number? Visit nyc.gov/mulchfest for more info, and please remember to remove all lights, ornaments, and netting before bringing the tree to a Mulchfest site.
