Step back in time and soak up the sounds! Join us for an intimate evening of live music in our historic Adriance Farmhouse. Experience beautiful melodies echoing through the centuries-old rooms of this local landmark, featuring various artists!

This weekend features International Award-winning Saxophonist and Composer, Carl Bartlett, Jr.!

Carl Bartlett, Jr. is an International Award-winning Saxophonist and Composer, Music Educator, and native of Queens, New York. He gravitated toward music while in his childhood, and through the years followed his calling to perform professionally in multiple genres, such as Jazz, R&B, Caribbean, Salsa, Rock and roll, and more.

In 2015-2016, Carl became the 1st Place Winner in the USA, 2nd in the world, in the prestigious International Songwriting Competition (ISC) Jazz Category, out of 18,500 entries from 120 countries worldwide, for his original composition “Quantum Leaps (And Bounds).” He has been featured in major music publications, such as Hot House Jazz Magazine, and has had another of his original tunes, entitled “Fidgety Season,” featured in the world-renowned JAZZIZ Magazine while also making it onto the publication’s top songs compilation CD. “A tone that only the greats have the ability to attain” raves All About Jazz, describing the profound and distinct sonic nature of Bartlett’s rich, full-bodied alto sax sound.

His band, The Carl Bartlett, Jr. Ensemble has released two critically acclaimed albums, “Hopeful” and “PROMISE!,” and toured Eastern USA (NY, NJ, CT, PA, Washington D.C., and FL) with their latest project. Carl’s group is ever-present on today’s music scene, having headlined at preeminent venues such as Smalls Jazz Club, Sistas’ Place, JAZZ at KITANO, Hartford Public Library Baby Grand Jazz Series, and The New Rochelle Jazz Festival at Ruby Dee Park, to name a few.

As an Educator, Carl has served on the faculty at the renowned Manhattan School of Music as the Jazz Saxophone Teacher. He continues to be an inspirational and innovative leading light on today’s music scene, both as a player and composer.
