Community Supported Flower Program
We have recently introduced a new Community Supported Flower program (CSF) at Queens Farm. This subscription-based program allows CSF members to enjoy a weekly floral arrangement made with gorgeous flowers, herbs, and foliage straight from our fields! Open for enrollment on a first-come first-served basis, this program runs from early June thru late October. Members pick up their arrangement at our on-site Farmstand on Saturdays between 12pm and 4pm. Shares are limited; please check back here in early 2017 for rate and registration information.
Here you will find a unique selection of items for the home and garden including Queens Farm products (listed below), locally-made gifts, farm-inspired toys, books, distinctive personal accessories, a variety of healthy snacks and much more. Members receive a 10% discount off all gift shop merchandise. Click here for hours.
Queens Farm raises a variety of heritage-breed laying hens. Eggs are available for sale in our Gift Shop; click here for hours. Because quantities are limited, there is a limit of one dozen per customer.
Raw, Local Honey
Italian honeybees produce a delicious, raw wildflower honey that is
bottled here at the farm by our beekeeper. One pound jars are available for purchase in our Gift Shop while supplies last. Call us at 718.347.3276 ext 311 to inquire about availability.
Yarn from our Alpacas & Cotswold Sheep
Want to knit a scarf from NYC wool? You're in luck! Queens Farm has recently expanded its fiber program and sells an assortment of yarn in our Gift Shop. Skeins of yarn are produced with wool from our Cotswold sheep and alpacas. We also produce a small batch of naturally dyed skeins using dye plants grown on-site. We encourage visitors to observe our Spring Sheep Shearing event each May and see this process come to life!
PLANTS & SEEDLINGS
The Plant Shop in our greenhouse complex typically offers a wide variety of quality annuals, perennials, and houseplants at reasonable prices. We generally offer a wide selection of vegetable seedlings in the spring which are propagated at Queens Farm. Currently, the Plant Shop is closed due to a restoration project in our greenhouse. We apologize for any inconvenience.
