You’re the Bee’s Knees, Honey!

Buzz through history to learn about beekeeping traditions and an iconic Prohibition-era cocktail, Bee’s Knees!

Take a trip back in time to beekeeping in the 1920’s with the Queen Bee of HoneyGramz. This fun interactive workshop will include a walking tour of the Queens County Farm Apiary, where it’s easy to imagine what beekeeping was like 100 years ago. See and feel what a frame of honey is like. Guests will learn how to make the Bee’s Knees cocktail that originated during the Prohibition and sample a variety of different types of honey.
