Sheep Shearing Festival

It’s time for a haircut! Watch as our sheep get their much-needed spring trims.

Celebrate Spring on the farm at NYC’s ONLY sheep shearing festival. Farmer-led tours and sheep shearing demonstrations connect visitors to life on the farm.

Jump around with a farm-wide scavenger hunt and enjoy hands-on kids crafts
Egg-cellent local food vendors, craft vendors, and fiber artisan showcases (spinning, natural dyeing, weaving, knitting, and crochet)
Visit the farm’s other animals and Antique Tractor Exhibit
Shop a selection of Queens Farm’s very own yarn, pick up seedlings for your home garden at Queens Farm’s spring plant sale at the Farm Store
Enjoy a hayride to top off your day (hayrides, $6 a person, children under 3 are free)
Free Adriance Farmhouse tours will take place throughout the day (11am-4pm)
Saturday, May 16 | 10am – 5pm
(Shearing demonstrations take place at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm)
