Recycling Day

Queens Farm is partnering with LES Ecology to recycle any unwanted electronics as well as textiles!
All events are 10am to 2pm, rain or shine, unless otherwise noted.
We accept the following working and non-working electronic equipment:
Audio-visual equipment
Cell phones, pagers, PDAs
Components (hard drives, CD-ROMs, circuit boards, power supplies, etc.)
Computers (laptops & desktops, servers, mainframes)
Digital Converter Boxes, Cable/Satellite Receivers
Monitors (CRT and flatscreen)
Network devices (routers, hubs, modems, etc.)
Peripherals (keyboards, mice, cables, cords, chargers, etc.)
Portable music players
Printers under 100 pounds, scanners, fax machines, etc
Tablets and e-readers
Telecommunication (phones, answering machines, etc.)
TVs, VCRs, DVRs, DVD & Blu-ray Players
Video-games
Clean and dry textiles:
Accessories (shoes, hats, bags, gloves)
Clean rags
Clothing
Household textiles (towels, curtains, bedding)
Ripped and damaged material
We no longer accept:
Batteries (except for lead-acid batteries from UPS (uninterrupted power supplies) systems)
Rechargeable batteries can be dropped off for recycling at any store that sells them.
DSNY Special Waste Drop Off sites accept all types of batteries, including alkaline, lead-acid, and rechargeable batteries.
Media, such as disks, DVDs, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, etc.
