Knitting 101

Knitting Basics: A Three-Part Series

Learn the fundamentals of knitting in this welcoming three-part series designed for beginners! Participants will learn essential knitting techniques and build their skills from session to session while working toward creating a simple scarf and/or blanket by the end of the third class. You will learn how to cast on, knit, purl, fix mistakes, read patterns, and cast off.

No prior knitting experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and a willingness to learn! All knitting supplies are provided, including a skein of yarn from our own alpacas’ fleece, and light refreshments will be served during each session.

Come unwind, learn a new skill, and enjoy the relaxing, creative art of knitting!
