Join us for a fun and easygoing class all about composting—what it is, why it matters, and how you can make a difference just by saving your food scraps.

Every day, we throw away leftovers, fruit peels, coffee grounds, and more—stuff that could actually be turned into healthy soil for gardens and green spaces. In this class, we’ll show you how easy it is to collect your food scraps and bring them to local compost drop-off spots, where they get turned into something good for the earth.

We’ll also talk about what the word organic really means—not just at the grocery store, but when it comes to food waste, soil, and the environment.

We’ll make wildflower seed bombs—little balls of soil, clay, and seeds that you can take home and throw in your yard or garden to grow surprise flowers. Bees and butterflies love them, and you will too!
