50 Years of Growth – November ’25

Queens County Farm Museum celebrates its 50th year as an established organization.

A Season of Gratitude. A Future of Growth.

As we pause to give thanks this week, all of us at Queens County Farm Museum are reflecting on what 50 years of community have made possible.

From the neighbors who rallied to save this land in the 1970s to the families, students, and volunteers who fill it with life today — Queens Farm exists because of you. Together, we’ve cultivated 47 acres of open space in the heart of New York City where learning, sustainability, and connection all take root. This milestone year has reminded us that preserving the farm is more than honoring history — it’s planting for the future.

In the days ahead, we’ll share an exciting opportunity to help grow the next 50 years of Queens Farm’s impact. But for now, we simply want to say: thank you. Your belief in this place keeps it thriving.

With heartfelt gratitude,
The Queens County Farm Museum Team
