  • 11am–12pm: MOMENTNYC
    • The MOMENT NYC project performs a selection of music with roots in Queens history. MOMENT NYC celebrates and supports the history of the City of New York through exhibition, performance, and education: A collective archive and living museum of music, dedicated to the history of cultural diversity in NYC.educators, musicians, venues, and institution.
  • 12:30pm–1:15pm: Fogo Azul NYC
    • Fogo Azul, New York City’s premiere drumline, Brazilian Samba Reggae marching band. New York City-based, all-women, trans, and non-binary Brazilian Samba Reggae drum line Fogo Azul (Blue Fire) was born at the intersection of founder and Buffalo, NY native, Stacy Kovacs’ passion for Samba Reggae, her deep respect for its cultural roots as a music of protest and resistance, her belief and activism in support of gender equality and her sense of civic duty in the current environment to publicly awaken and inspire people to resist oppression and exercise their power to uplift society—loudly!
  • 2-4pm: Louis Armstrong Eternity Band
    • Electrifying audiences since 1980! Inspired by jazz pioneers Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, Duke Ellington, Jelly Roll Morton and their colleagues, the band has appeared nationally and internationally, including at the 2021 Newport Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center’s Midsummer’s Night Swing, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Jazz in July at the 92nd Street Y, and more.Lincoln Center’s Midsummer’s Night Swing, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Jazz in July at the 92nd Street Y, and more.
  • 4:15-6pm: Stix Bones & the Bone Squad
    •  With their unique blend of soul, funk, and hip-hop, Stix Bones & The BONE Squad will keep you movin’ & groovin’all night long. They’re the former house band for the 3000+ seat Paradise Theater who made their name opening up for legendary artist such as Charlie Wilson, Chaka Khan, & Babyface and working with legendary artist such as DJ Maseo(De La Soul), Abiodun Ayewole(The Last Poets), & Rahzel (The Roots). They will perform songs from their Breaks from The Soul releases, which bridges the gap between Jazz and Hip Hop.The band’s current CD, Olimpik Soul, featuring Olympic world record holder Bob Beamon on percussion, has climbed the Jazz Week charts and has been sampled by DJs and beatmakers worldwide. Beamon will be on stage with the Squad for this momentous occasion!

    Musicollage
    • With Musicollage, Fresco, Clover, and Dani Sundream bridge the gap between performer and audience, getting the whole family involved in the live music experience. By bringing together soulfully groovy tunes with inclusive crowd harmonies, kids to people of all ages can feel the joy of communal singing. Inspired by generational talents such as Stevie Wonder and The Beatles, Musicollage weave colorful musical expression with story telling, creating improvised themes, lyrics and arrangements right there on the spot! With Fresco’s dance-y drum beats, Clover’s dynamite voice, and Sundream’s Hendrix-like riffs, there’s sure to be unforeseen moments of musical magic!
  • 11:30am–11:55am, 2:30pm–2:55pm, 5:30pm–5:55pm: Brooklyn Magic Shop
  • 12pm–1:55pm: Midnight Radio Show
  • 3pm–4:55pm: Mariella Price
    • Step into the world of vocalist, composer, lyricist, bandleader, and entrepreneur, Mariella Price, an alluring songstress and multi-faceted performer with a smooth, rich tone and a keen sense of rhythm. She is an award-winning songwriter and vocalist, and has performed at Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, and International Jazz Festivals. She has been featured on Sesame Street seasons 40 and 41, in Elmo’s Music Magic DVD, as well as the Grammy Nominated album Fu Chronicles. Mariella is also the founder of Jazz Baby Music- classes, and concerts combining her love of jazz standards, popular music, and multi-sensory play.

  • 11am–12:15pm: Mike Irwin & the Arrival
    • Trumpeter and composer Michael Irwin studied Jazz at the Conservatory of Music at SUNY Purchase where he was the student of trumpet great Jon Faddis. Mike has appeared on a number of GRAMMY nominated and GRAMMY winning albums. He teaches music at Queens Collegiate, a secondary school in Jamaica, Queens.
  • 12:45pm–1:45pm: Kalen Lister
    • KALEN, a New England-born artist who emerged in Brooklyn’s early 2000s music scene blends rock, soul, and electronic elements from punk funk to dance rock, trip-hop, and downtempo electronic, including her current project Death By Piano and ongoing solo work. KALEN released the “VOW” EP under her Death By Piano project in spring 2024. New releases under both monikers are planned for next year, including a stripped-down piano and vocal album from Hi 4 Head records.
  • 2pm-4pm: Jesse Fischer Group
    • Jesse Fischer is a Brooklyn-based pianist, composer, and producer. Known for his warm, soulful touch and emphasis on melody, groove, storytelling and emotion, his unique voice combines elements of his own Jewish heritage with music of the African diaspora, jazz, hip- hop, and singer-songwriter genres.
  • 4:15-6pm: Underground Horns
    • Underground Horns is a Brooklyn based brass band playing Afro Funk Latin New Orleans grooves and beyond. AllAboutJazz called their 2009 debut record FUNK MONK “kick-ass dance music…that brushes up against psychedelia…with shots of funky brass juice.”

    • Super fun, interactive, dance party with hula hoops! Learn some basic and hula hoop tricks as well as dance moves. Fun for all ages! Cheerful play for toddlers and a bit of cardio and coordination for the “big kids”!
  • 12pm–1:55pm: Midnight Radio Show
  • 3pm–4:55pm: Nutribe Dance Co.
    • Dancer, choreographer, educator and Jamaica Queens native Christina Smith is better known under the moniker Coco Motion. She is the founder and artistic director of NuTribe Dance Company (NTDC). The company’s rituals in dance explore a fusion of black dance vernacular including hip hop, waacking, African, Krump, spoken word and meditation practices.
