Dinners on the Farm III: Harvest Dinner

As the summer turns into fall, the Queens County Farm Museum and chef Camille Becerra invite you to a four course outdoor dinner on the farm.

This dinner, served family style out in one of our vegetables fields, is a wonderful occasion to share an amazing meal with new friends in a bucolic atmosphere, away from the noise and traffic of New York City (without actually leaving the city).

Each course and the passed appetizers will feature eggs, honey, pork, and vegetables harvested from our 47 acre farm and will be paired with a New York wine.

Farmer Michael Grady Robertson will lead a tour of the farm and talk about the exciting plans for expansion and growth at the Queens County Farm.

Local wines provided by New York Wine & Grape Foundation

About Dinners on the Farm

The Dinners on the Farm series invites farmers, chefs, and diners t0 our farm in New York City for an evening.   We believe that farmers have more than stories to tell, they have knowledge to share and practices to teach.  Each dinner features a pre-meal workshop that is free and open to the public.  The first dinner in this series was held in March of 2009 with farmer Julie Engel who gave a workshop on pasture raising rabbits, followed by a five-course dinner prepared by the GradyWood Supper Club.  We welcome suggestions for future dinners and workshops.  The prices and number of seats for each dinner will vary.

The Harvest Dinner is $75 per person. Space is limited, please purchase your tickets soon.
